ACC Info & Documents
ACC (Architectural Control Committee) is a standing committee of home owners appointed by the Association Board to regulate all exterior changes to lots. The purpose for the Committee is to (a) assure harmony of external design, materials and location, (b) protect and conserve the value and desirability of the neighborhood for residents, (c) promote consistency with the deed restrictions and architectural guidelines, and (d) look after the interests of the Association in maintaining the value and appeal of Friendswood Oaks as a premier residential community in Friendswood. Examples of things requiring ACC approval include but are not limited to changes associated with pools, pergolas, exterior color, addition of other structures, fences, hedges, walls, driveways, walkways, and tree removal. The Home Improvement Request (HIR) form is available on the website and there is no charge for submitting one. The committee has 30 days to disposition each request once received and all required information has been provided.
This page provides a listing and links to all the ACC documents (e.g., applications, guidelines, etc.). These documents are periodically updated and therefore all owners and/or contractors should always visit this location to ensure they have the most recent revision. A document that has an 'Unofficial Copy' watermark across it, is one that is downloaded from the Harris County Clerk's online files. An asterisk * means that the document/information is a draft and/or not yet recorded in the Harris County Clerk's Office.
If you are a Friendswood Oaks Owner and would like to ask any questions, have comments and/or suggestions for any of these ACC Documents, or for the ACC Committee, please send a note to 'ACC' on the 'Contact Us' page.
